Dog Field Hall Lane Upminster

Upminster Dog Fields

3 private dog fields and a leaded trail in Upminster

Open space where a dog can really run is hard to find on the edge of London. In Upminster you book a fully enclosed field for your session, shut the gate and let them go. No other dogs in your field, no strangers and no roads.

We have 3 enclosed off lead fields and 1 private leaded walking trail, easy to reach from Upminster, Hornchurch, Romford and the M25.

The off lead fields

Field A, Hall Lane

A fully enclosed grass field with 6ft fencing and open meadow views across the farm. There is a field shelter and picnic bench, car parking and a dog waste bin with bags.

Field B, Bird Lane

A fully enclosed grass field with 6ft fencing and views over the farm, with a field shelter and picnic bench, car parking and a dog waste bin with bags.

Field C, Hall Lane

Smaller than Fields A and B and tucked into the centre of the farm, so it feels quiet from the moment you arrive. Enclosed with 5ft fencing, with a picnic bench and a dog waste bin with bags. A good choice for a dog who settles best in a calm, smaller space.

The leaded walking trail

The leaded trail is not an off lead field. It is a private nature trail on farmland that is normally closed to the public, booked for you alone. Your dog stays on the lead throughout, so it suits dogs who are not ready for off lead time, and owners who want a calm walk with no crowds and no public footpaths. The leaded trail starts from £7 for 25 minutes.

Prices and sessions

At the enclosed fields, a 25 minute session is £10 and a 55 minute session is £15 on weekdays and £16 at weekends. You see the exact price for your field and time before you pay.

Who it suits

Reactive and nervous dogs, rescues, puppies learning recall and older dogs who like a quiet potter. If your dog struggles on busy walks, our tips for reactive dogs in a private field will help you make the most of your first session.

Book in 3 steps

  1. Pick your field or the trail and choose a time. It takes about 2 minutes.
  2. Arrive, go through the gate and shut it behind you.
  3. Unclip the lead in the fields, or set off on the trail at your own pace.
