Who We Are
If you've ever turned round at the park gate and gone home, we built this for you.
We're Guy and Emily French. Farmers, parents and dog owners. In 2019 we had a miniature dachshund called Fudge and the same problem you might have now: nowhere safe to let her run. Every park visit came with that knot in your stomach, wondering which dog was going to come bounding over.
So we fenced off a field, made it secure and let Fudge run. Watching her tear across the grass with nothing to worry about is the feeling we want every Essex dog owner to have.
Other owners wanted the same thing, so we opened the gate. One field became two, then three. Today there are 12 Foxes Farm Fields locations from Basildon to Upminster to Colchester, so there is likely one near you. In 2025 The Paw Patch at Great Bromley joined us too: more fields, the same standard, closer to you.
We're not a corporate chain. We answer our own messages and know every field personally. Fudge still inspects each new one like she's head of quality control.
