Private Dog Fields Essex, Everything You Need to Know
A private dog field is a fully enclosed, secure outdoor space hired exclusively by you for a set time slot. When you book a session at Foxes Farm Fields, the entire field is yours, no other dog in your field, no other owners, no public access. You arrive, let yourself in through the double gated entry, and enjoy complete privacy for your session.
Book online through our website or our booking app. Pick your nearest location, choose your date and time, read and accept our field rules, pay online, and you're confirmed. You'll receive booking details with access instructions. The whole process takes under 2 minutes.
At Basildon and Upminster, 25 minute sessions are £10 and 55 minute sessions are £15 on weekdays and £16 at weekends. Basildon C and D also offer 110 minute weekday sessions for £28. At Eight Ash Green, Colne Engaine, Great Bromley and the Paw Patch, sessions are 55 minutes, £13 on weekdays and £15 at weekends. Our leaded walking trail at Upminster starts from £7 for 25 minutes. Pricing is shown clearly when you select your field and session time at booking. We also offer multi session packages for regular visitors.
Private fields are built with reactive dogs in mind. All Foxes Farm Fields locations are fully fenced with double gated entry, and the field is yours alone for the session, so no other dog will be in your field. A buffer between bookings means you won't meet the next booking at your gate. Some sites have neighbouring fields, so you may see or hear another dog over the fence.
You can bring multiple dogs from the same household. The number of dogs permitted per session varies slightly by location and is shown at booking. Most of our fields comfortably accommodate two to four dogs. Contact us if you have a larger group.
Yes. Every field is fully fenced, and the height varies by site. At Basildon, Fields A and B have 6ft fencing and Fields C and D have 5ft. At Upminster, Fields A and B have 6ft fencing and Field C has 5ft. Great Bromley, including the Paw Patch, and Eight Ash Green have 6ft fencing. Colne Engaine has 4ft fencing. If your dog is a jumper, choose a field with 6ft fencing.
Our fields are natural grass. Some locations have extra features such as a field shelter, picnic bench or agility equipment. Each site page shows the features for that location: Basildon, Upminster, Great Bromley, Eight Ash Green and Colne Engaine.
Yes. That's the whole point. All fields are fully enclosed, so your dog does not need to be on a lead at any point during your session. The exception is our leaded field in Upminster which is designed specifically for dogs who need a structured, secure environment with lead work.
Our fields are outdoor and available year round in all weathers. Some locations have covered shelter areas, and a private field in the rain still beats a busy park on a dry day.
Yes. Your booking is exclusive, you can bring whoever you like. Many families use our fields for a dog session the whole family can enjoy together.
Fresh water for your dog, particularly important in warmer months and for longer sessions. Poo bags. Suitable footwear for grass, especially in wetter months. Everything else is taken care of.
We ask for 24 hours' notice for cancellations. Full terms are shown at booking.
