Dog Walking Fields Near Witham, Essex
Witham Dog Owners: A Private Dog Field Is 10 Minutes Away.
Witham sits in Braintree District, and if you're a dog owner here, you know the challenges. Power Station Park, Rickstones Road Recreation Ground, and the River Brain walks are popular but unpredictable. Other dogs approach without warning. Reactive dogs can't relax. Even calm dogs can have their training undone in seconds by an unexpected encounter with an off lead stranger.
Foxes Farm Fields has private dog walking options right on your doorstep. The Colne Engaine field, a 6 acre private paddock, is a 10 minute drive from Witham centre, and our Eight Ash Green field near Colchester is also within easy reach.
Colne Engaine field: 55 minute sessions from £13 weekday, £15 weekend. Villages like Cressing, Kelvedon, Feering, and Black Notley are all close by. Book in under two minutes.
Why Witham Dog Owners Need More Than a Public Park
Witham is a market town with good access to green space, but dog walking in Braintree District's public parks comes with the same frustrations every dog owner knows: other dogs who appear from nowhere, owners who shrug when their dog charges over, and the constant scanning anxiety that makes relaxing with your dog almost impossible.
For dogs who are reactive, in recovery, or simply not ready for the chaos of shared public spaces, a private enclosed field changes everything. No surprises. No other dogs. Your booking, your field, your hour.
From Witham, the Colne Engaine field is just 10 minutes away, with our Eight Ash Green field close by too. Either way, your dog gets freedom on their terms.
I came across the Colne Engaine field from Witham and it's completely transformed our walks. My dog has such anxiety around other animals. Here there are none. She sprints around like a puppy again. Worth every penny.
