Dog Field Hall Lane Upminster

Wimbledon, Your Dog, and the Summer That's Already Underway — Essex and London Dog Owners, This One's for You

Every summer, Wimbledon turns the nation's attention to a perfectly manicured lawn and the sound of a ball being struck. Your dog, meanwhile, has been staring at you since 7am wondering when you're going to take them somewhere they can actually run.

This is peak summer in Essex and across London. The fields are green, the evenings are long, and if you haven't yet booked your dog a private session somewhere away from the crowds, now is the time.

Foxes Farm Fields is Essex's largest network of private dog walking fields — 12 fully enclosed, exclusively booked locations from Basildon to Upminster to Colchester. And this summer, we've got offers on that Essex and London dog owners really don't want to miss.

Why Wimbledon Season Is Actually the Perfect Time to Book a Private Dog Field

Here's the thing most people don't think about: during Wimbledon fortnight, half of London is glued to Centre Court, the parks are quieter mid-afternoon, and if you're driving out from Romford, Hornchurch, Barking, or Ilford, you can be at one of our Upminster fields in under 20 minutes.

While everyone else is fighting over park benches in Epping Forest or queuing at Hainault Country Park, your dog gets a fully enclosed field to themselves. No other dogs. No strangers. No shared space.

Book early or book late. Our fields at Hall Lane and Bird Lane in Upminster are available from early morning to evening, seven days a week. Perfect if you want to get out before the heat builds or after the evening session finishes on your TV.

The Foxes Farm Summer 2026 Offers — And Why They're Built for Right Now

We know summer is the toughest time to give your dog what they actually need. Pavements get too hot by 9am. Beaches have dog bans from May onwards. Public parks get packed with school holiday crowds from families, picnics, and kids running unpredictably.

So this summer, we've built three offers specifically for Essex dog owners — and for dog owners commuting from East London, North London, and across the M25 corridor who want somewhere genuinely private.

Offer 1 — Half-Price Barn: Your first session in the Indoor Dog Barn at Eight Ash Green drops to £12.50 (normally £25). Use code BARNSUMMER26 at checkout. Valid 1 July to 31 August 2026, first booking only.

Offer 2 — The Summer Pass: Book any outdoor field and we'll email you a code for 60% off your first Indoor Dog Barn session. Best of both — the fields for cool morning runs, the barn for when it's genuinely too hot to be outside.

Offer 3 — Cool Weekday Sessions: Book four weekday sessions across any of our 12 Essex locations and the fifth is free. Perfect for dog owners who can be flexible with timing — early morning slots in Basildon, Colchester, or Upminster are often quieter than the weekends.

Where to Find Us: Private Dog Fields Near You in Essex and East London

Whether you're a dog owner in Chelmsford, Brentwood, Billericay, Wickford, Rayleigh, or South Woodham Ferrers, our Basildon fields at Laindon and Noak Bridge are within 15 minutes. Fields start from £7 for a 30-minute session.

Coming from Romford, Hornchurch, Upminster, Cranham, Rainham, or Dagenham? Our four Upminster fields — including a dedicated leaded walking field — are the closest private dog fields to East London. Easily accessible from the A127 and A13.

North and East London dog owners from Walthamstow, Chingford, Loughton, or Epping can reach Upminster in under 30 minutes. No tube anxiety. No dogs-on-leads-at-all-times signs. Just a proper run in a proper field.

In the Colchester area? We have fields at Colne Engaine, Eight Ash Green, and Great Bromley — popular with dog owners from Halstead, Braintree, Witham, Sudbury, Tiptree, and across the North Essex villages. Sessions available seven days a week.

Absolutely. Private fields are built for reactive dogs. Your booking is exclusive — no other dogs on site during your session. All our fields are fully fenced with double-gated entry, and there's a buffer period between bookings so you won't cross paths with other dogs at the gate.

Wimbledon runs until mid-July. The summer offers run until 31 August. Your dog doesn't care about either — they just want somewhere to run. Give them that somewhere. Book online at foxesfarmfields.co.uk.
